TRAINING.

Canadian Institute of Decorative Finishes (CIDF) is a Certified Training Center for Faux Effects International® Silver Label product line.

The workshops are designed to allow the students a hands-on understanding of today’s decorative painting finishes. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer, professional painter, or looking to broaden your horizons with a creative and rewarding hobby, a class like this is for you.

At CIDF, our experience with Faux Effects® products is inspiring and broadens our horizons in the field of water-based faux finishing products. We are an authorized training studio and offer techniques that range from marbling and woodgraining to olde worlde and modern finishes. The techniques we instruct are used for walls, ceilings, cabinets, floors, countertops, steel doors, for interior and exterior applications, and more.

Workshops are recommended for experienced professionals in the painting and decorating industry, for creative individuals who are knowledgeable in basic finishing techniques, and for those who have already received a certificate of training at the Canadian Institute of Decorative Finishes.
